What is an anchor? Let me give you an example: Is there a particular song you know, and every time you hear that song you are instantly reminded of a particular person or event. That song is an anchor for that person for event. Is there a particular smell that transports you back to a certain time? That smell is an anchor for that memory. We can create physical anchors by pressing down on certain parts of our body when experiencing a high, intense, positive emotion. Watch how Liam helps Lucy create the foundation of a strong physical anchor by experiencing the emotions that she would find most useful to call upon whenever she needs them.
